Originally from Williamsport, PA, studied Community Development at the University of New Hampshire, then moved to Florida in 2008, where he met his wife. Her family’s pool business sparked his interest in construction management, and he soon discovered a love for design—focusing on trust, open communication, and seamless backyard transformations.

Hunter brings leadership experience and is quickly mastering the pool building process at Backyard Breeze. He works closely with subcontractors to keep projects on track and ensure everything runs smoothly on the job site. Hunter’s attention to detail and proactive approach make him a valuable part of our team.

Graduating with an Accounting degree from Stephen F. Austin University, April joined the company in 2022 to establish accounting systems and streamline operations. Now serving as Operations Manager, April oversees the day-to-day business functions while continuing to support the design and sales teams, helping drive both efficiency and growth.

An SFA alum with nearly 10 years of experience in the pool industry, Matthew is well known in the community for his friendly personality and design expertise. He guides clients from the initial consultation through design, bidding, and material selections—then stays involved throughout construction to offer ongoing support. Matthew loves building relationships with clients and enjoys the creativity each project brings.

A Nacogdoches native, Haley earned her general business degree from Panola College and joined our team in 2025 to oversee our accounting and office operations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and competing in barrel racing with her Quarter Horse, Denero.

Joining the company in 2021 from East Texas Hydro Mulching, he evolved from a helper to a key team member in pool building. Committed to client satisfaction, he enjoys family activities and coaching his children’s sports teams during his free time.

Joining in the summer of 2023 as a pool site worker, he quickly became essential for excavation and terrain integration. Known for his reliable work ethic and positive attitude, he balances his professional role with quality family time.

Ben Rivas joined our construction crew and has proven to be a reliable and hardworking addition. He plays a key role in prepping construction sites for upcoming phases and consistently steps in wherever he’s needed—often getting pulled in different directions throughout the day and always ready to jump in and help get the job done.

Jayson Oliver brings extensive experience in the pool service industry and is our go-to expert for all things pool service. With hands-on knowledge of nearly every major equipment brand, he knows exactly how to keep pools running smoothly and efficiently.

Jayson’s dedication and care for his work make him an invaluable member of the Backyard Breeze team. We’re lucky to have his expertise ensuring our clients’ pools stay in top condition year-round.

Thor Anderson joins Backyard Breeze as a dedicated Pool Service Technician. He takes great care in cleaning pools for our weekly maintenance clients and ensures water chemistry is perfectly balanced for a safe and sparkling swim every time.
